In relation to Strategic Leadership and Management aspects, “Let Myanmar Be Renowned” Leadership Development Campaign have been organized and held by Myanmar Imperial College annually. This Leadership Forum aims to create great positive impacts upon Myanmar’s youths and encourage their social contributions, individually and as a whole for the country’s development.

The campaign has annually and particularly shred positive and invaluable insights in regards to Leadership and Growth Mindset Development for an estimation of 2,000 youths since 2015 and we believe that it is remarkably provided great beneficiaries, delivering surplus knowledge and enhancing the attendees’ potential capabilities. The core intention of the Campaign is to encourage the belief of youths that their dreams can be turned into reality and that they are capable of more than they think they are.

EVENTS

The core essence of Research and leadership lies in the heart of Myanmar Imperial College. Therefore we have organized and expansive range of workshops and activities at the College for the students in order to promote the passionate interest, participation and knowledge that exchange in the group discussions and activities, in relation to their specialized areas of the learning aspects, which are Business Management, Marketing Management, International Tourism Management, Leadership and Research Development.

Myanmar Imperial University has also organized and led in various other pursuits and contributions such as “Business and Investment Ventures and Opportunities in Myanmar Seminar, “Research and its Importance” Seminar, “Myanmar Japan Seminar on Economic & Management”, “Women in Leadership Development” Seminar, “Overcoming of Challenges in Dreams and How to Manage and live in it” Seminar, “Grandest and Future Success of UK Education” Seminar, “Domestic UK Education and Future Success” Seminar, and “Youth and Dreams” Seminar to the organizational, national and global extents.

ACTIVITIES

At our College, we are altogether a diverse academic community of more than 1,550 students, academic faculty, and management members from across the country and the world, living and learning on our College Campus in Yangon, Myanmar’s most populous city and most important commercial center.

For making sure that the entire academic journey of our students is worthwhile and expands their horizons of lectures and study moments in the library, we ‘Myanmar Imperial College’ deliberately offer the most fulfilling and invaluable student experience through restlessly-conducted events and activities that are happening on campus for our students.

Students can also join the College's clubs at the Student Service Office according to their personal interests and in-born talents for arts and sports. Our clubs include MIC Bike Club, MIC Movie Club, MIC Arts Club, MIC Reading Club, MIC Badminton Club, MIC Dance Club and many more.

Myanmar Imperial University regularly organizes industrial and field visits for students with the aim to go beyond their sophisticated academic knowledge and insights, delivering students with real-life perception of the working industry, along with aiding them to association their academic and theoretical knowledge and exposures with industrial knowledge, expertise and practices. Recently, students from Myanmar Imperial University had visited Thailand, Bangkok for industrial visit to acquire diverse knowledge and industrial experience together with gaining valuable insights upon assorted management systems and operations of the real-life industry.

It is highly important to celebrate students’ academic excellence, hard work and achievements to allow students to perceive a strong sense of great recognition and acknowledgement in regards to their honorable accomplishments and achievements academically. Myanmar Imperial University prestigiously and proudly organizes Students’ Graduation Ceremony to celebrate students’ academic excellency along with commemorating their outstanding attainment and triumph annually.

Myanmar Imperial University annually organizes highly enjoyable and recreational trips for students to enhance cohesion and engagement among the students. Attributable to that, it also bolsters the positive atmosphere of the learning environment, bolstering the confidence level of the students and escalating the performance of the students. Not only that, these trips also create countless joyful and treasured memories along with the creation and establishment of cherished and invaluable bonds among the Imperians.

Thus, our University regularly celebrate festival days that deeply symbolizes both the citizens and country for instance, “The Culture Day”, “Thadingyut Lighting Festival” and many more.

Myanmar Imperial University routinely organizes Fresher Welcome party for the students in order to accord students with warm reception and hospitality for the new comers and to elevate smooth adaptation to the fresh new environment. It also enhances the solidarity bonds of the students, building their confidence along with supplementing their creativity level as well.
