MIC Futsal Club
MIC Futsal Club commonly known as MIC FC is a professional futsal club based in Yangon, Myanmar. MIC FC was founded by two young entrepreneurs, U Phyo Maung Maung and Daw Poht Poht Kyi who are the founders of Myanmar Imperial College. They are very passionate about creating a positive change on the quality of private higher education and social contributions, in Myanmar.
Historically, MIC FC was founded as "Hobbit FC" in 2009, restricted as "Tha-Ma-Da FC" in 2010, change its name to MIC FC in 2011 and now, now stands with the name of MIC FC in 2019 under the establishment of Myanmar Imperial College (MIC).
MIC FC currently stands at No.1 ranking in Myanmar and has not only regularly participated in National Tournaments, but also taken part in International Tournaments as well. In addition to that, MIC FC has also reached to great heights by reaching the standards to participate in AFC tournament which is known as a famed and prestigious futsal tournament across Asia and also been awarded in the tournament as well in 2018 and 2019.
Throughout our 11-year heritage, we have won 11 Trophies, with a record of 9 Championships in MFF Futsal MTC League 2014, Myanmar Football Federation Ooredoo Futsal Cup 2014, AYA Bank Futsal Open Cup 2015, MFF SPY Futsal League 2016, MFF Futsal League 2018, MFF Futsal Open Cup 2019 and MFF Futsal League 2019 and a record of Second Runner Up and Fair Play Award in AFF Bangkok Futsal Club Championship 2015, AFF Myanmar Futsal Club Championship 2016, AFF Futsal Club Championship 2018 and AFF Nakohnratchasima Futsal Club Championship 2019.
Under the establishment of
Myanmar Imperial College, MIC Futsal Club currently stands at No.1 ranking in Myanmar and has
not only regularly participated in National Tournaments, but also taken part in International
Tournaments as well.
Founded by the founders of Myanmar Imperial College (MIC), U Phyo Maung Maung and Daw Poht Poht Kyi, MIC FC has been active in Public Relation and CSR activities in terms of social welfare, health remuneration, and other benefits for students and members of MIC. The Vision of MIC FC hugely focuses on producing talented national football prospects in the future in accordance with the MIC Slogan, "Leaders of Tomorrow".
With other national futsal clubs in Myanmar, MIC FC had recently participated in MFF Futsal Cup 2020 in Myanmar as well as AFF Nakhonratchasima Futsal Club Champion 2019 where we had been awarded as Champions and 2nd place runner-up respectively. MIC FC has been active in Public Relation and CSR activities in terms of social welfare, health remuneration, and other benefits for students and members of MIC. The vision of MIC FC hugely focuses in the future in accordance with the MIC slogan, "Leaders for tomorrow".Currently, the club is training at contracted stadiums regularly. Myanmar Imperial College's Sports Complex serves as one of the main training grounds for the MIC Futsal Club at U-Wisara CAmpus. We are one of the most popular and successful sports teams among Myanmar Futsal Clubs, playing one of the most popular spectator sports in Asia Futsal Level.
